Intriguing backstory! I had to grin at the lawyer remark... *g*
And although I know it's a backstory and therefore they both survive, I'm worried now...

I'm really enjoying this fic so far.
Nate and Eliot connecting like this is excellent backstory for the show. I wish it was canon!

Also, Eliot was held by a russian crime lord named Nishka? Was he worried about his reputation being fact and not gossip? Did he perhaps like the writings of Shan Yu?
