Drums and Clementines

A lot of stuff is happening right now. Working out plans. Hopefully seeing Jason Webley with his band up in Bellingham with Luke on Saturday night in addition to visiting Western. The biggest phase of College Apps has passed, but there is still work to be done.

My school was closed on account of the weather for today and yesterday. Basically Seattle gets hardly anything in the way of snow and ice, but to the north, east, and south it has been pretty dramatic. Bellingham has about 15 inches of snow and another storm is supposed to hit tonight but it is supposed to be freezing rain. Still waiting to find out about school tomorrow.

I went to a drum store over in Bellevue today but had a hard time playing, mostly, I hope, because of how cold my wrists were. The shop is pretty fucking cool though. It is a small place and drums literally coat the place. Ceiling to floor and the walls are decorated with signed drum heads from Greenday, Marky Ramone, Ringo Starr, and snare drums are signed all across the ceiling. It is a cool joint.

Bad news: my next cell bill is $160. It is unfortunate but I'll see what I can do. The monthly charge is regularly $44 so that's almost four times the cost. Hmm bad medicine. If any of you motherfuckers want to call me, you best be having Verizon, calling on weekends, or after 9pm on weekdays.

When coming back from Bellevue I had to get a hot chocolate. I make no jest in saying I think it saved my life. My hands were frigid and I felt like my feet were two blocks of ice. Now I am home, I have consumed two E Z peel clementines, and I should note that it ridiculous how often I have been checking the weather. It is below freezing now.

And now something that makes me happy because it is beautiful.
