Well this month started and ended with what we both have agreed wholeheartedly have been two of the best weekends of our lives so far. This last one was incredible - sunshine - lovely landscape and some of the best darn people you could hope for around us, Crow and I both said last night we hurt from laughing - we even got told off for giggling too much in our tent - but when that level of happiness and silliness is reached we just got the point where everything was funny and we couldnt stop - I do believe Mr and Mrs Wobbly got the giggleitis last night was it !

We drank dam good wine and mead with old friends who we see every year at Oakleaf and many other camps and conferences to the point where we filled and overflowed the marquee we had taken and we welcomed new and utterly wonderful folks to join us who kept coming back !

Crow and Mr Wobbly ended up helping run one of the Sweatlodges which was such an honour for them both I will never forget the beaming smiles on their faces coming back it was just superb, fireember and sister went in and again had that amazing glow and smile and seemed to really enjoy themselves !

Ravin and Mr Ravin caught up with us on the first day and we had the best time with them what utterly lovely people and the badgercam ball was just amazing seeing people tango'ing and jiving in wellies and posh frocks was a sight I will never ever forget they need a bloody award for getting even the most reluctant to dance and join in - yay to you and well done with how much you raised. I wish I had a pic of a certain lady with her black and white body and face wow did she look amazing utterly incredible but I think despite her demands to have the photo her beloved took of her deleted off the camera I have a feeling he may still have it (well for the moment anyway) and she just looked incredible.

We were honoured to be invited to the handfasting of two lovely people we have got to know quite well over the years who renewed their vows and had the most stunning ceremony - Wobbly and I Both said on the way back how the Lady herself had such a glow and a smile on her face and that place just like Sentry does that to you that and the person taking the ceremony who just puts her all into it and made it so so special and beautiful - I wish them so so much happiness and it was so lovely to be part of that - thank you

Which leads me onto saturday night and the most I have laughed in years to the point where Crow had to leave and have a walk as he could hardly breathe - sitting and recounting the tales of Wisscraft and the Ancient High Magyk of Shitecraft with the Meister Wisser himself oh my gods just amazing the man is a dam genius and so so funny bless him

Cervinae showed all men how to do it right and pulled two stunning women by having something in his eye and was brought back arm in arm with them from the first aid tent, with an eyepatch on and a stick to be a wooden leg, as I think the plan was to take his mind off the eye by turning him into a pirate it was so funny - how does he do it ha ha !

We brought some wonderful things and saw the lovely Jamara who had some utterly stunning pieces on her stall.

We sung we danced we laughed we drummed (albeit badly) Wobbly and I walked and talked a lot and watched with great pride as Fireember and sister's work of the 5 foot willy on the wickerman was raised they looked so proud and so they should have been - I danced round the fire with Wobbly and Fireember and Sisterember, Aunty Pogo who looked stunning, Elizaornie and her wonderful daughter who I think is just amazing and many many others and it was bloody ace even Crow got up as did Mr Fireember which was more of a knock me down moment ha ha !

I fullfilled the promise and Naimh and I finished the weekend with fabulous company and a lovely bottle of red round the non burning stick thing ha ha listening to people all around laughing and drumming and enjoying a stunning moonlit night it was just stunning absolutely stunning and I cant wait to read her post about the Wisshead!

So with a bath run and Crow and I making a sunday dinner on a monday - as Bufty would say double sunday this week so we may as well make the most of it - I bid you a very red armed but utterly content and amazingly happy goodbye for now

With much love and of course thanks to all who made this weekend and the first one so so so special, a very very very happy content and sunburnt Aunty Moon and a very smiley and cuddly Crow!

Merry Farte and Bloated Be
