Maps...
So how many of you have heard the news about how horrible Americans' knowledge of Geography really is? How many Americans cannot find the U.S. on a map? (Answer: Quite a few can't). Me? I have always thought I had a pretty good grasp of Geography...the "name the states", "locate the states" memes I complete in record times...unless I have to SPELL them. I had not been able to find many games in the way of placing other countries...until now.
I have always wondered about my ability to place other countries of the world...especially since the break-up of the Soviet Union. I found a website that is a 'place the puzzle pieces of the world'...it was not quite what I was looking for, since you CAN just 'match-up" the shapes if you get stuck, but it DOES end up telling you what you know, what you really don't know and what you just 'figure out'.
