11 years on LJ, already?
seems kinda crazy in all sorts of ways, but here are some thoughts that raced through my mind:
1) Even though my LJing has tapered off a LOT, I'm still thankful I got the permanent account & all its perks... worth every one of those 10,000 pennies I shelled out back in 2004.
2) Crazy to think that I've been an adult 11 years now
2a) and that I could've been a daddy to an 11 years old (if I lived in parts of the country where it's practically an obligation to marry off and make babies right after high school.)
3) And yet, there are still parts of me that are very childish (I still occasionally DDR, watch anime & read manga, go to the occasional electronica fest and still possess an unusually cheerful outlook on life.)
4) Though at the same time, I'd like to think I've matured considerably...
5) It's been years since I've been to Davis; I'd like to re-visit sometime for memory sakes (though definitely piggy backed off a trip to a larger city... Portland/San Francisco, perhaps?)
But yeah, glad LJ is still around -- it was a hoot strolling down my memory lane of posts (esp. with a beer in hand.)
