I love talking with Ci. She and I...we're so much alike. It's almost frightening, really. We had each other in absolute giggle fits with some of the completely inexplicable things that happened while we were chatting tonight. Thanks, Triv. :D
I had a Moment tonight. I forgot that yesterday was Monday, completely forgot I was supposed to meet with my advisor yesterday. My mother was emotional on the phone and that always rubs off on me. My grandfather is doing better than expected, but he's not back out of the hospital yet and he can't seem to shake that infection. I did a tentative job search on Monster earlier today and, dudes, I can't afford to move to New York City but I don't want to work in Wal Mart (aka the Devil Store).
Cocoa and conversation soothes a lot of ruffled emotional feathers, though. And I have delicious leftover chili to reheat for meals tomorrow. WIN.
Why is my bed still not toasty warm? My toes are cold. Boo hiss!
