It's WHAT day of the week?!
So, you guys, Triv is really cute. Really, superlatively, fantastically cute. I love her.
I'm giving myself a hard restart right now, to bastardize a technological term. I've been so over stimulated the past few days that I just needed to get somewhere relatively quiet, relatively deserted, and poke around in things that didn't involve my brain. I bought some coffee, some yogurt, and a donut (bad Meg) and have settled myself in the courtyard between two of the buildings. Meg needs her quiet time, orz.
Today has been nostalgic and fun, though. I've gone to several papers pertaining to Irish music, which was my primary focus until last semester. It's refreshing to know that I can sit and understand the references and get a lot out of the presentations without needing to pay exorbitantly close attention in order to note important considerations for my own work. In fact, the vast majority of my attention has been taken up by how the papers are constructed. It's been really interesting and education to note structural differences and tactical organization of arguments.
