Your life, so hard~, guess what, so's everyone else's and I don't care!

....and now HM!K is mad at me because I made her get out of bed to take out the diaper trash that she promised me she'd get rid of last night.

TOUGH DILLY-O. When you say you're going to do something, do it. I'm not going to feel sorry for you because you had a tiring weekend of reunions and then had to work today and are wearing your pajamas and already in bed. If you have the energy to spend three hours on the phone talking with your boyfriend, you can damn well get up and take out the trash.

I bitched her out through her bedroom door and then through our adjoining wall, she got up and stomped around and slammed doors as she took out the trash, she stomped back up the stairs and banged on my door and shouted that the trash had been taken out, and I chirruped a very serene and saccharine "thank you!"

People, if I have not made this very clear, I am not a particularly nice person. I have a bed temper and I hold grudges. I expect people to keep their word and I am not forgiving when plans are changed and I am not informed. I am actually proud of my ability to be a heinous bitch in situations that call for such deportment. She's seen me use it before on the landlord, and she's starting to learn that she is not immune. I am not a doormat, thanks.

[[I am not, for the record, particularly proud of my inability to reign in some of my bitchy instincts in situations where discretion is more often the better part of valor, but I am improving.]]

I still have, what, three and half pages to write? Yippee. I came home from movie-watching, set Mr. Coffee to make me some delicious delicious sustenance caffeine, hopped in the shower, and am settling in for a night of not sleeping.

Re: A Touch of Evil ...I am not convinced. Some of the cinematography was fascinating and it was refreshing to see actual character acting on the screen, but the screenplay left a lot to be desired and there were some gaping holes in plot and portrayal. And really, the execution of some of those scenes...ouch, my cliché senses, they have been abused (and some of those things were cliché then!).
