Updates come slowly because, well, small-town life really isn't all that exciting, especially when you spend most of your time sleeping (and no one is more surprised by the amount of sleep I'm getting than I!!).

Compy has phenomenal speakers.

Going with the Incredible!Sue and her husband to see Eragon Friday night has put me in a mood to reread my Patricia C. Wrede dragon quartet. I love those books...got them for Christmas was back in elementary school and have read them about half a million times since. They're not the most spectacular books ever scripted but they scratch the itch creatively and humorously. I munched on those for the weekend (all four books combined take, what, six hours to read?).

My project for now, however, is the original Eragon, for which I swapped the I!Sue my quartet on Sunday. I'm also working my way through Ray Bradbury's From the Dust Returned (which will be read whenever I need to go somewhere and can't fit the other book into my coat pocket).

In any case, I need more dragon books, because I've read and reread all of mine.
