My high school reunion was organized 100% on facebook. No joke. If you didn't have one you just wouldn't have known about it (though in retrospect that might not have been such a bad thing).

A lot of web services are going to the Facebook-only model, or even require a Facebook account name and password to participate, and it's pissing me off. I don't trust those bastards with anything since they have proven repeatedly that they don't care one jot about the security of their users, so the notion of using Facebook as a sort of universal log-on for every service gives me the screaming willies.
