Got a major Amazon order today;
- replacement copy of Spiral Dance, because mine went walkabout, and Thorn T. Coyle's Evolutionary Witchcraft because she's on my f'list here at LJ (yezida) and I really like her writing
- Serpent of the Nile, on the history of Near and Middle Eastern dance, and Beauty and the East, on beauty treatments from same; a combination reserach for my medieval persona and indulgence in building my background knowledge for dance
- Princess Smartypants and Prince Cinders both by Babette Cole, for the Tiny Tyrant's collection of cool, feminist-friendly picture books
- Hindu Deities by Patel, who works for Pixar (tiny cute illustrations of Kali and Durga!)
- And the boxed set of His Dark Materials, Forest Mage by Robin Hobb, Making Money by Pratchett and Catherine Jinks' Pagan in Exile and Pagan's Crusade for sheer unadulterated book-joy
