Nothing Much...
It's been such a long time since I've watched Farscape. I know... it's a shame to admit that but I just haven't had the time in quite a while. I do record it on my Tivo (I've heard that Nielsen has actually started counting recorded shows), but I usually just delete them afterwards since I own more than one copy of all the DVDs! LOL Anyway, Suns and Lovers is on my screen and it's pretty nostalgic watching the show. I miss it. I really hope we get more one of these days. That sure would be nice...
I really need to be upstairs working on my resume. I have a job interview next week and I have to email my resume on Monday. I guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow! I really don't want to leave the job I have right now... it's been just about the best job anyone could ask for. I can wear my PJ's to work and I set my own hours - and I'm pretty much my own boss. So why leave? Because I'm bored. Because I've just about killed myself since Thanksgiving in overtime hours (one paycheck had 124.5 OT hours on it). Because I want to move. Because I can make more money than I make now with overtime and I can actually work 8 hour days. So why hesitate, right? Because I'm comfortable? LOL Not a good excuse. So, I'll go on my interview next week - which I'm told is really more of a formality than anything - and I'll probably start the new job in mid-April. Welcome to your new journey... Change is a good thing, right?
I'm off to Colorado on Friday for a vacation. I'm looking forward to it! My married roommates went to visit her parents to show off the new offspring. He'll be home on Monday and I'll leave to go there on Friday. Then she, Baby and I will be home on the 30th. I can't wait. I've never been to Colorado. Let's just hope I don't freeze. We've had 80 degree weather here for the last several weeks and I don't even own a coat any longer! Ah, well. *grin*
Think I'll switch over to the last episode of Bones. I can't get enough of that show....
