"And thats how Jason proposed to me!" Shrieks of joy and "awws" were shouted across the table. It was then that Stacey Snapped back into reality. Her best friend Kim had been telling a story of how she met, and her adventures in dating her soon to be husband Jason. Nothing like a long sappy story at a batchlorete party to make a single women feel Lonely.
"Lets do some SHOTS!" shouted another member of the party. A tall shot glass the color of windex was placed in her hand. Stacey tilted her had back downing the shot and gagged at its sweetness. "Yum" shouted several other girls at the party. "I know! Lets talk about our favorite romantic movies!" Shouted Kim. Stacey rolled her eyes and downed the rest of her beer; She had no problem with romance but talking about sappy romance movies was a bit too much. Plus as much as she did not want to admit it each romantic story was a slap in the face that she was the only single one left.
My favorite movie is Twilight said Julie. "I Just Love jake"
Ok Lets agree to disagree. Now how about "The wedding Bride!". Everyone at the Table "Awwed" Except for stacey. "Tony Is every woman's Fantasy" continued Jill. Four heads nodded in agreement.
"He Is Handsome, sooo romantic and the kindest man in the world" Sighed a girl sitting across the table from Stacey.
Stacey Kept her mouth shut. She was likely the only women who though this; but the character of Tony made her want to puke. No one was that sickingly sweet. Worse as soon as the movie came out guys had hit on her with Tonys Lines from the movie. She actually loved the character of Jed Mosley. Not only was he the only person to make her laugh in the whole movie but She found his red boots hot, and he was the only one who know how to pronounce "Encyclopedia". Even Stella had gotten on her nerves. Each time Stella sighed into the camera Stacey had to stifle a giggle. Stella seamed like a brat/
"Stacey you will meet your own Tony someday" Sad Jill rubbing her shoulder.
Stacey sunk lower into her seat. She did not really feel like explaining to everyone her feelings about Jed and Tony; that she would rather have been with Jed then Tony. She had told Kim a while back, but she hoped Kim had forgot, or at least would not tell.
