Craziness!!!
Life has been weird.
*Last night, 11:10 PM: I get a phone call from a classmate from Latin America in Film. She has a few questions, but then informs me that I totally misunderstood one of the essay questions I answered. OY VEY. I am in no mood to redo the question. I decide, "SCREW IT!" I figure my teacher will have to deal with my answer :P
*Last night, 12:15 PM: Picture me snuggled up comfortable in my warm bed, finally drifting off to sleep after laying there for a long time not managing to sleep. There is a strange sound...I suddenly realize that it's the fire alarm *rolls eyes* I drag myself out of my comfy, warm bed. I throw on pants, my winter coat, my glasses...remove my earplugs. Slump reluctantly into the cold of the night. Upon re-entering the building, I run into a dorm-mate that wants to chat with me for a few minutes. That wakes me up even more. Upon returning to my bed, I don't fall asleep til, I'm guessing, 2 am...
*Today, 8:00: Why did I wake up at this time even though my alarm wasn't set????
*9:15-Checked my mailbox on the way back from breakfast and get my pictures back from the developer!!! YAY! I love pictures! Happiness! :)
*10-Noon: Watched a movie for film class (while doing laundry!) called "The Crime of Father Amaro." Interesting movie that totally bashes the Catholic Church. Very sad ending, but good movie. Had tea to keep me awake! CAFFEINE!!!
12:30: Frantically write a note to attach to my take-home film midterm to explain why I answered question number wrong...beg the teacher that she'll accept my answer anyway, as I feel it is a scholarly analysis :P
1:00: Film class. Come to find out that the girl who had called me was the one with the wrong interpretation of the question!!! Everyone else in the class answered it like I did! Remove the note from the test...:P Then proceed to have the best film class ever! We had a great discussion of "Amores Perros." That was SUCH a good movie. The more I think about it, the more I liked it! And I might add, we had a substitute teacher today, not our normal professor...gee, what a shocker that this was the best class ever!!!!
4-5:Tutoring was good!
5:30: Dinner. I liked the food and the ice cream AGAIN tonight...Harris has been frighteningly good this week!
7:00-Go to Cervantes class. Me and the other class members sit for 20 minutes waiting...no professor. Everyone decides to leave. That's the third cancelled class...crazy!!!
7:25:Get back to my room
7:35: Voice message from Professor Roca. Turns out, sure enough, he showed up like 5 minutes after we left...insane!!! I hope we aren't gonna lose credits for like never having this class!!!
8:30-9:30: Hung out with Sam! We had a lot of catching up to do!!! And we're hanging out Saturday evening! Yay!
Now I am here. It's been a busy 24 hours!! Crazy! I am sooooo tired...to bed soon! And volunteering tomorrow!!! :)
And yay it's thursday tomorrow! Thursday evenings are good :)
