(no subject)
I should be in bed. But I'm in weekend mode right now. All I have tomorrow is Art History. I'm on duty right now, so I had to stay up 'til midnight anyway (not that that was a challenge) and then Kyle called me and we got talking.
All the loose ends a person has to tie up in their life gets frustrating. That was where most of our conversation was centered at the end of the phone call. Trying to stay a float with classes, homework, trying to find/maintain a job that you can be happy with, yet will provide a certain amount of security. Housing, utilities... *Sigh* There's so much more to consider... but I'm not going to talk about that now. Maybe someday soon.
Earlier tonight I knew that Kyle and his sister Afton were going to their Grandma's farm to visit. I called him when I got out of my staff meeting, expecting him to probably be back home by then. But much to my surprise, my mom answered the phone when I called him! For a moment I thought that I was talking to Carol (Kyle's mom), but the voice was my mom's. So then I thought that maybe I speed dialed her instead of Kyle... but they were just messing with me! Kyle was at my house visiting with my mom and Chisum (dad is working a job in Havre this week). They obviously were talking about weddings. :-) I'm sure he went over there tonight to show her the ring.
It just makes me smile. I love when we're talking about things with consideration of the other person's opinion and our future together (aw, yes... very cheesy, but the lovely reality of my life!). What kind of car will we have? What pets might we get? We probably don't want that breed of dog till after our kids are older, 'cause they're not good with children.
