Is there truth to be seen?
Last night Matthew and I watched, Some Kind of Wonderful, and I enjoy it more every time. The truth is I used to watch it all the time when he was away.
You see Matt is an artist www.darkhigway.net and in school we went out for a small time and broke up for some (only God knows why) reason. Something about darker people not mixing well with the more out right spiritUAL people.
Helllllooowwww!! Is that not who we are called to be? Mix like Jesus did with the tax collectors and prostitutes. Matthew is not a prostitute. HEH. Just to keep that clear. Anyway, after our little time together, we eventually found each other again, but I was then living in Key West, FL. Then I move to Weatherford, TX, he moves to San Francisco.........about 4 years are passing. Ok, so now he lives here in Norman, OK really close to me. We were going to live together but lets just say God's will is very important. We see each other every day almost and we are still just friends. We are pretty relaxed with each other now (after 6or7 yrs).
So the movie last night...this artist guy decides he wants to be with Watts ( his boyish best friend who is a girl) and not Amanda (Lea Thompson you know Twin Peaks?) the popular girl who he likes to draw and paint. At the end he gives his best friend/girlfriend a pair of nice earrings to have that he had bought for Amanda.
So I am still in love with is guy....I try to fight it everyday, we have rejected each other a couple of times, but we are still so close...weird, anyway after the move he gave me a pair of his earrings. Yeah I know I am pathetic.
