Yay for cheaper books and one more day off!
So yesterday's adventure to the book store resulted in what couple have been 400 dollars worth of books. FUUUUCK that. Instead I wrote down titles, authors, and prices, and hit the online websites. So far I have 7 of my 16 books ordered for a grand total of 83 bucks. A lot better than what it was worth at WMU and University. Uck. So next I'm gonna try wome textbook websites. See what happens with that later.
After my adventure to the bookstore, I decided I wanted something to drink, so I began heading towards the Rocketstar, when I figured I might as well give Prescott a call. Turns out he walked into the bookstore right after I walked out, so I met up with him and his buddy Topher, then the tree of us went and had drinks and a war over Sorry. I love playing board games with Prescott. It always ends up being an epic battle between us.
When I got home this afternoon I called Christine, and me, her, Peter, and ITChris are going out to dinner tonight, and she'll get to see the apartment for the first time since I moved in. I can't wait to see her. I missed her when she was in Italy. It'll be fun to see my girlly again.
Pizza was had with Pete at the new fraternity house last night, and we rented the Clerks cartoons. I love those. Only 6 episodes, but still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. The house is coming along nicely too. Peter's getting his room set up bit by bit, and there isn't much else to do until he gets his bed up there. Unfortunately there won't be enough room in there for both the bed and the futon, but for the moment, it'll do.
Plans for today? I'm about to clean the apartment which could use a little scrubbin', and then I'm gonna finish whatever book searching and scheduling stuff I didn't finish yesterday. Christine comes after work at 5:00 today. Did I mention I'm excited to see her? ;)
