From preteens to mid-highschool, I listened to pretty much only one band. Backstreet Boys. My best friend and I LOVED them. Well, she loved AJ and I loved Nick, lol. And most of the songs were so sugary sweet we needed many dental visits. We stayed in our happy little world; full of love songs and pretty boys.
Then Nick Carter got a girlfriend. It was probably the best thing that could of happened to me; the news broke into my delusions and I realized just how obsessive I was. I still love their music, but I began to switch my obbie-con to... teasing them. All those humor sites on the web? Yeah... in love.
The other in this duo never got into that, I daresay she tolerated my interest. And more and more, my interest in BSB dwindled, even moreso as I got into anime and therefore Jpop.
Then they came back. It had been awhile since I laughed so very hard, especially since it was right after New Kids did the same thing. Said friend's obbie con is still in full swing, she makes her husband's ears bleed with them, lol. So when their brabd-spanking-new ablum came out, I'll bet she was first in line.
I didn't even know the release date, though oddly, I still remember the one for 'Millenium,' lol. And she's been linking me songs and sending me ringtones. I finally looked up some vids out of curiousity a little while ago.
I don't have their birthdays memorized. Anymore.
No idea of their relationship status'. Anymore.
And not a clue where Kevin is.
But something was brought to my attention about a half hour ago that really ticks me off.
