I recently came across a BADASS webcomic called Johnny Wander. http://www.johnnywander.com/ i spent the last day n a half getting caught up on it. Highly recommened. Anyway, there's a nice lady selling hand-painted shoes on one of their recent blogs. She's a tattoo artist that was recently diagnosed with brittle diabetes, and is in stage two lung cancer.
