Ok, lets talk music.
Firt of, low twos to you who may think Jimi Hendrix, stevie Ray Vaughn, or any one musician is what makes up the band. I assure you, from expirience, that any player is only as good as the bond he or she has with the fellow band mates. Even the most renowned of pro's will tell you they are only as good as the people they jam with.
And for you, the beginner, do not make the mistake of being critical and opinionated during the developmental stages of your music. For all music is art, good or bad it has wisdom to offer.
I bought some hot rods yesterday. they are sticks designed to be played with acoustic instuments. I can't wait for my friends to all reunite and have a bash at the beach. Like in the vidio for angels son by sevendust. Only better because I will be there and not wishing I was there.
I played an alvarez acoustic for about an hour as well. I went through the entire A.I.C unplugged cd right there in the sound room. As packed as the place was, all I saw was me and that guitar. I will buy that guitar if I do not feel a better one.
Its time for the Fender to go in the closet for safe keeping. Its getting up there in worth and is too expensive to use casually. I want to buy a Les Paul but I can not find a style I like. I also looked at a double-bass pedal for my drums. They are cheap right now, about $200 for a Precision. Not bad, comes with a soft case. I have to put some more thought into that perchuse. I fear that it will take from the challenges and I will lose sight of how good I want to be with just the single pedal. As well as that, I will soon buy a Tacamini acoustic bass. Im not at all good on bass but this guitar brings things out of me that I did not no exist. All is wishful thinking, because I need my eyes set on tuition. Although most of that is taken care of I still need to be ready for anything.
Ok, I feel like a computer junky. I spend to much time here. I dont even like computers. Until I realized I could talk to josh on a daily basis, I did not even touch then stupid thing. I now have online banking, online concert updates, frickin online singles profile. It sick. I gotta go :)
