(no subject)
These past few days have been mad cool.
After classes yesterday, David took me shopping downtown(after we caught a lunch at Redifer). We went to Rag and Bone, The Roost and Crushed Ice. Great Stores. David loved The Roost (as I anticipated). After that we walked into the flower shop where the incredibly nice clerk gave me a free red rose. It is BEAUTIFUL (reg retail price was almost $4 for just ONE!) I have it in an Aquafina bottle on my desk. I'll preserve it :)
After shopping, I started my dialogue for CORE. I was so nervous, I just wanted it to be perfect. Vicki invited D-Money and I to dinner. That was a BLAST! we laughed so hard and were the last people to leave. At 8 PM I was invited back to Cooper to visit with my old floor girls. I MISS THEM! We caught up on the all the new stuff goin' on. I had a blast there, too!
At 9:40 PM I returned to the room. INTENT on finishing my Dialogue. I saw a message from matt inviting me to the HUB movie. Just when I was about to type a "so sorry, I'd love to come but can't" Donna turned over the remote (a sign of : Hey I'm out for a bit you get Remote control no pun intended)She gave me this look, and I looked back at matt's AIM message to me. I couldn't imagine missing out on a night out with my Blue Banders!(except Brian, Geoff and Chris couldn't make it...and Vickster couldn't make it because she had a test or something :( ) Most of the gang was there (EVERYONE, SERIOUSLY, YOU NEED TO COME NEXT TIME!) The movie was HILARIOUS. Another total Blast!
I returned to the Room with D-Money. I finished my Dialogue. All was in place. I needed for everything to be stellar on Friday (aka today).
My project SERIOUSLY kicked the ass of all other projects in that room. I was doing my presentation and waited for feedback from the prof. He stared at the picture and said : "You attacked this project with the intensity that I was looking for and haven't seen yet...You've set a standard." I was ecstatic but didn't show it until I walked out of the building. BOO YAAAAAAAA!
Today as I was leaving the Commons after lunch, I ran into Joanna! we chatted for a half hour then we both had to get going. I love my friends! All of you kick ass!
That, my dears, is what I call an awesome week. I can't wait for tonight! WEEKEND! Tomorrow is GAMEDAY so that makes it even MORE cooL!
If I haven't seen you in awhile WE SO NEED TO CHILL!
It doesn't upset me that essentially, I have no free weekends until the end of October. If I'm having this much fun, what does it matter?
