that voice in your head that says
"you ain't right,
you can't be right, you never will be."
it ain't right.
all these things you think at night,
all those hateful names you call yourself,
it ain't right.
all through your life,
you've been given pain..
it ain't right.
all those urges you cannot fight,
bloody legs and too many pills,
it ain't right.
what drove you from fight to flight;
what took away your self esteem...
it ain't right.
when people wish you out of their sight,
I want you to look at them and say,
"it ain't right."
when depression rules you with his might,
I want you to fight back, cause
it ain't right.
when you think you cannot fight,
I have to tell you...
it ain't right.
when people sneer at you,
when people laugh,
when you hate yourself,
when you think others do...
know this...
it ain't right.
