didn't go to school today, only have one class and it was studio time. usually studio time means half the people show up and then leave early lol. plus bryan might not have been able to pick me up at the usual time, so i'd have just been waiting in the lobby in school for four hours or more. figured it'd be better to do my work at home and not have to rush it after i got home...that is, if i get a design idea before it gets late. @_@; this project is harder than i thought.
bryan and my third year anniversary was on tuesday. :] i was at school until 9:30pm, but when i came home he had set up a nice little surprise for me. first time he's ever done that. he also got me flowers and a nintendo DS, so it was the delayed christmas and valentines stuff too lol. he's got pictures on his flickr account. he took pictures of me too, but i had just gotten home from school, my make up almost completely gone and not dressed properly, so i was a little uncomfortable about that, but whatever. lol.
this past weekend he went to visit his family, so i was alone. i actually had planned on finishing up some things online, but my cat (*coughs at ravyn*) dropped my mouse and i couldn't get it to work for two whole days. so i pretty much just sat around did a couple chores. i also finished reading harry potter and the chamber of secrets, so now i can move on to prisoner of azkaban (my favorite of the four movies out so far), i hope it's good. :D maybe i can even finish order of the phoenix before the movie comes out, i've got a year or so.
i compiled my collection of hello! project music (well, videos) for the community i frequent. that took a while. i'm gonna do a list of my general jpop collection, but i should wait for the weekend so i don't let it interfere with my school things.
so bryan's sxsw (south by south west, a big internet/communications convention) is coming up. it's looking really hard though. the airplane tickets and hotel stays are really expensive (to houston, tx) and i'm trying to figure out what to do with the cats. looks like a pet sitter is the only solution, but i don't like the idea of giving a stranger the keys to my house. i don't really have a choice though, i can't leave them alone for almost a week. i need someone to clean out the litter box, otherwise willow will start peeing on other things. anyway, money is the biggest issue. i don't know if we'll physically have all the money we'll need at one time for what this is going to cost. i guess there's nothing i can do but wait and see.
in other news, brokedown palace is a fucked up movie. i've seen it like 5 times and i still think so.
edit: olympics. haven't watched the ending ceremonies actually, recorded them and been waiting for bryan to catch up so we can watch them together. but my comments about the events/athletes...*laughs at bode miller* *cries for michelle kwan but cheers for shizuka arakawa* *not impressed by sasha cohen, she's not bad but i don't see what all the hype is about* *shakes head disapprovingly at lindsay jacobelli* *annoyed at the constant poking at the "feud" between shauni davis and chad herrington* *stabs the media for constantly referring to the relationship between apollo anton ohno and ahn hyan-soo as a "fierce rivalry"*...you may notice that i'm only mentioning american athletes, that's because that's pretty much all they bothered to cover. ._.;
other than that, i hate kickboxing. ciao.
