But you've got lots of bills to pay....what can you do?

The theatre is now my second home. It's going to be hard to give up my key after this show. I really hope we get to do another weekend.

I had no idea that Rocky Horror would do so fucking well. I had hoped and wished, but two nights of nearly sell out crowds are unheard of on opening weekend. The early show on Saturday was slow, but I used it as our rehearsal for that night. I tried new things. I yelled a line that I had made up on the spot that show and I had 6 phantoms turn their heads in sync and look at me with confused little eyes.

Last night's midnight show was the best so far. The crowd was pumped and the cast was right on target. There was one drunk man in the third row that was yelling stupid shit (why are all the idiots in the third row?) but by halfway through the 1st act he had calmed down.

Patrick's birthday is today, and we're having a party tonight. Then tuesday is the RENT premiere party. Wednesday is the pickup rehearsal. Other than that, this next week is going to be nice and slow. I need a little time to breathe.

I am going to miss this cast so much when this is over. Someone needs to take this over and do it again next year. Make this a yearly thing.
