Goblet of Fire
Last night was the midnight showing of The Goblet of Fire. Tony, Debbie and I went along with Katy and Patrick. We ran into the wayward cast of Hamlet; Elizabeth, Jason, and Ben. So, we snuck Katy and Patrick into the theatre we were sitting in (there was two for all the stragglers) and I sat back to see how badly they fucked up book #4.
Oh my GOD! This movie was the best out of all of them so far. They actually got most of all the important parts from the book into this move. Of course, it was really really fucking long.
The graphics were great. Most of them were LucasFilm animators which makes me want to work there even more.
They cut Bella out of the flashback scene, which sucked because that's who I dressed up as. However, she was mentioned.....kinda. She'd better be in the next movie because she's the best Death Eater EVER!
Oh, did anyone else catch the sexual tension between Harry and Cedric? I never saw that in the book. If anyone convinced me that Harry is gay, it's Daniel Radcliffe. Gay Gay Harry.
Ok, picture time. I dressed up as Bellatrix Black Lestrange. She was the Death Eater that tortured Neville's parents into insanity and went to Azkaban in 1981 just after Sirius. She's also Sirius' cousin and Draco's aunt. She gets more book time in the 6th book, but for now she's only in flashback mode.
I drew this onto my arm with my RIGHT hand. WHOO! I am multi talented and skilled, oh yeah. AND, we were driving in the car in the dark.
Next time I dress up, it's going to be Sirius Black. But, I had to use my Go Go Gryffindor scarf for Tony. He dressed as Sirius, but only with black jeans and a leather jacket. However, I did get him to carry a wand and wear the scarf all night.
*sigh*
I love him.
We got in around 3:30am, and I woke up at 8. Stupid internal alarm clock..... Stupid work..... Tony called in "sick" today.
