Am now back from school. It being, a half day, and the last day before Xmas vacation, I took great pleasure in leaving school, and I feel very spoilt. My friends all gave me presents, and I did something totally unprecedented after school. I took the Starbucks gift card given to me by Aera, and The Matrix and Philosophy given to me by Alia, and sat in a coffee shop, reading and drinking. For anyone reading this (of which there are none) this is not something the Katrina normally does. The Katrina normally walks home on a long ramble, then cleans her room and feeds the lizard and avoids doing her homework.
I felt very lazy. Also, I have made the discovery that it is an unquestionable and irrevocable fact that, while surrounded by people my own age who would probably accept me into their company, I will always end up talking to the college people who come back to visit and laugh at their old teachers. Go figure.
Am going to see ROTK quite possibly on Sunday. Wish I could have seen it before, but, hey, what're you gonna do?
Anyhoo, Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas to all- I'm going to go and read my book.
