I LOL'd at your "90 is 'not many." I doubt our neighborhood's had 90 kids in the entirety of my 32 years on Earth. That's quite a haul. Unlike our street on Halloween. But a lot of that is our area being largely elderly, and the splattering of kids we do have either go to the mall, or drive to one of the more "populated" sectors further down/into the subdivision.

Lexington is a college town, so I know all about "stupidity-induced accidents." Win or lose, a UK game is guaranteed to bring out the morons.

I eyeroll so much at the archaisms of LiveJournal. I mean, I get LJ differs from "accessible" social platforms in that it's more for "journaling" than spastic blurbs of everyday life. (Let's be real: Facebook and Twitter are veritable cesspools of "self-wank.") But I can't deny how bloody convenient they are for easily sharing content between friends. I mean, pretty much EVERYTHING provides a link to post on Facebook and Twitter. Here on LJ I have to log in, upload to Scrapbook, search for the ORIGINAL image source-as LJ ALWAYS tries to link a resized thumbnail with crap resolution-then add to post (modifying the HTML as needed). That was all fine and well back in 2008. But dang it all, it's too friggin' involved/busy for 2019. Honestly, I'd probably post a tad more often than I do if logging entries on LJ didn't feel like such a chore.
