Because I bought sweet, Vegas Christmas cards...

No kidding, it's been a while.

Well, I just sent my first round of cards out (friends that I have addresses for). This time I was able to get them canceled in Rudolph, OH. - which means everyone gets the famous "Roudolph Stamp". In our area, this is a very big deal. People from around the region (and sometimes former Buckeyes who live out of state) will drive clear out to Rudolph just to get a card cancelled because of that stamp. Some neighboring towns even have an annual tradition where a volenteer will diliver an entire populations' mail to Rudolph so it can be cancelled.

So when you look at that stamp smiling back at you, be happy to know you're now part of one of Ohio's numerous, very odd, Midwestern traditions.

If I didn't send you a card, last year, and you'd like to get one, all you have to do is just comment with your name, address, zip, etc. and. All info will be screened and I promise I will not try any crazy stuff like steal your identity or hack your Facebook.

And, just as a fair warning to those newbies; I'm a regular Chatty-Freaking-Cathy. I will write -in my own chicken-scratch penmenship- in your card. It's not short, either. Sometimes, if I feel like it, I will also doodle. Remember, you have been warned... :D

And, if I'm not on here anytime soon... I hope everyone has a great Christmas/Hanukkah and New Year.
