Sketches of what was there before
My life these past two weeks has mostly been flashcardville because I'm a flashcard kinda girl apparently. And passing out in bed without having turned on the laptop all day. But, the good news - still about a month and a half of flashcardville and passing out. Joy.
Psych - "The Amazing Psych Man & Tap-Man, Issue #2"
Comic book opening theme song! Awesome!
I had hoped that the Mantis would end up being the good guy - and for a while there he was - but the fact that he was doing it all just so he could get the money from the Camino drug syndicate was disappointing to say the least.
I hope we get to see Officer Reginald or whatever-his-name-was more.
Man, so far Psych's sixth season is just hitting it out of the park. I hope they continue this momentum of being awesome.
The Vampire Diaries - "Orindary People"
So we got to learn a little more about the Original family and we got flashbacks featuring them which was so very awesome - I have no idea where this love of flashbacks has come from but I think TVD is wholly to blame.
I keep wavering between wanting to sympathize with Klaus and wanting to murder him myself. Mostly though, I just want him to die.
I think the reason why Mikael (Papa Original) wants to kill Klaus is because Mikael knows that Klaus was the one who really killed Esther (and also maybe because Klaus is a bastard child). We shall see if I'm proved right or wrong. (Also, hi actor from SPN! I think you play that angel Balthazar. I mean, I haven't seen any episodes with you in Supernatural, but I think I'm right.)
But really, Elijah still remains my favorite of the whole Original bunch. (With Esther and Rebekah coming in a close second. And maybe Henrik too because he was adorable - what we saw of him anyways.) And what we know of ghosts/ghost worlds in this universe, I hope Esther was reunited with the child she had lost prior to her family turning into vampires and the son who got bit by werewolves, Henrik. That'd be nice.
So if the Originals are 1,000 or so years old, that would mean they lived around 1011 or around there. I wish I was more of a history buff so I could write fic about the Originals and have it be accurate. Or have other people writing fic about the Original family for me to read would be awesome too. *seriously, why isn't there a plethora of awesome fic featuring Rebekah, Elijah, Klaus and the rest of the Originals in the past on Ao3?*
The Stefan and Damon bonding scene at the bar was fabulous and felt like the good ol' seasons. I just wish we could have more of that and not of Stefan being a dick, as Damon called him.
Also, it can't be the mid-season finale, can it? *has no idea where the time went, but it flew by*
I still haven't watched found time to watch Grimm or Once Upon A Time. But soon!
