The Art of Over Working
Give a girl a promotion, put her on salary and take away overtime pay.
Add in that she loves her manager like a mother and would do anything
for her, is over dedicated with a strong sense of work ethics. Now drop
in the useless concentration of particles that is supposed to make up
the other third of the management team. And just for fun, add the 'too
much to do in a short amount of time like turn the store into a
Christmas fairy land from a Halloween play land and keep up with
everyday stock and things to do - all while cutting back payroll and
hours for the hourly associates (the ones who get overtime)' and what
do you get?
A tired, stressed out, over-worked, too dedicated, crabby bitch.
Who really misses just hanging out on the computer...
The good news is that we have a few interviews this week to hopefully replace Useless and the transition is almost over and things should be starting to slow down with the acception of training a new person and writing the thousand papers due in school - so I'm looking forward to time on here again SOON.
