I might have a job opportunity back in Hickory. I shouldn't really be fretting over it until I get an offer, but my mind is wandering. After living there 18 years, I rushed out...not really looking back. Do I really want to be *that* person....gets out , then comes back. Is being *that* person really a bad thing as I always thought in the past ( Read more... )

What's bad about wanting to live in a town you consider to be "home?" I know once I get my couple years of experience at Salisbury, I'm heading right back to western NC.

I guess I always had moving back to Asheville closer in mind...I'd be near what I like in Hickory, but not necessarily there ha :P I think everyone has the feeling about whereever they grow up.

I want to move back to asheville too but ended up at home and frankly it's not that bad. I want to leave again and now that mom hasn't had surgery and is feeling well.. it's more feasible however.. job market sucks.

You hit the reason we all have to leave Asheville at some point or another :(...at least I'd be closer.
