does anyone really know what time it is?
it occurs to me that the summer has, quite simply, flown by. here are some of my highlights thus far - forgive me if i've left some out.
- back to school again ... and commuting for the first time
- carolyn's HOME!
- lish's birthday magic
- HUEY LEWIS & the news! LIVE! in concert! !!!!!!! i'm still so excited!!!!
- the demise of my beloved van, which held out much longer than expected and went out with a bang (quite literally). i hope you're happy in that great big parking lot in the sky.
- the introduction of charles, my sassy silver saturn ion.
- phone tag ... with ever so many people.
- work, work, work, work, work, work ... oh, and did i mention work?
- shaun's birthday party at boogie fever
- john g's birthday party at gameworks
- the downtown hoedown with amy and then with kyrie and amy
- bbq @ shaun's house
- hanging out with evan in b'ham
- sarah & joe's wedding
- maryl's shower
- hanging out with aunt susie a lot while she was in town
- making spaghetti cassarole and dumplings at grandma's house
- spending the night at grandma's ... twice in two weekends!
- doris day movies on dvd. enough said.
- 4th of july @ swanson's, so much fun
- david's retirement party, again, so much fun ... i'll not soon forget all the antics
- bdubs with amanda, followed by anchorman
- long islands with meg, caitlin, chris and aunt jan
- woodward dream cruise: monday, wednesday, saturday
- hang time with cheryl
- dan's farewell party
- bdubs with dr. jill and the warren girls
- peanut barrel with dan, ryn and kelly
- walking on stoddard afterwards
- midnight meijer runs with lish
- not watching pirates of the carribean with lish
- 13 going on 30 with carolyn and the 'rents
- having jen home
- meeting merissa in my 425 class
- library books!
- the 425 class
- lish joining lj
- brew & view, along came polly with lish and sparky
- having the house to myself for a few brief days
- getting a new cell phone
- a few wonderful new cds
- classes being over for a solid week
on the 30th, i start commuting again to lansing (mondays and wednesdays). so be warned, i may just fall off the end of the earth again.
and now it's time for sleep.
