Welcome and New Things
I want to say a big HI to all the new friends I go from the recent Pokemon Friending Meme! I can't wait to get to know you all better, so as a way to kick things off, I'll answer any question you ask me.
In other news, I'm getting super excited about the new Pokemon games, even if the fandom is tearing itself apart with drama and such right now. I just have to wail until Friday, and then all my questions will be answered. That being said, I jotted down some reactions to the recent CoroCoro news, so if you wish to read them, look before.
Team Plasma's leader is pretty awesome looking, especially with one eye covered like that. I approve.
I'm not sure about the monkeys yet, but the Fire one does look kinda cool. I might use it eventually.
Basurao seems interesting, and I like that you get different colours of it depending on which game you have. It also reminds me of the map fish from The Wind Waker, which I have been playing recently. Dogmon is cute, and it knows Pickup. Might get it. The cat seems pretty neat, and I hope it evolves into something useful.
DESUKAN. OH, HOW I LOVE YOU ALREADY. Totally awesome. The three Pokemon that were releases with him are pretty cool. Bug/Electric sounds exciting.
A Buffalo Pokemon? Hm...not sure about it's design, though. Not liking Dangoro either, but if he evolves into Gigaiasu I'll put up with him.
Tabunne is even cuter now that we have a better picture of her. MEBUKIJINKA. YES. DO WANT.
I prefer Churine over Monmen, but since I'm using Shikijika, it's a moot point. Crazy Mushroom Pokemon? What were they smoking?
Guys, I think I discovered a new fandom. I happened to catch the American launch of Sherlock on Showcase last night, and loved it. It looks totally awesome and I am so going to download it when I get the chance. Plus, I discovered that someone is doing crossover fanart of Pokemon and Sherlock, which is totally amazing. Finally, I have been inspired by the above artist to do a series of crossover fanfics centering around the Criminal Minds cast and their possible Pokemon teams. It looks like it'll be a blast, and I was hoping someone who has knowledge of both series could help me with team choices.
