Hello Yuletide Author! Thanks in advance for writing me a story in one of these awesome fandoms! All prompt ideas are suggestions only, so you don’t have to follow them if you don’t want to. I’m totally ok with both gen and smut fic, so write whatever you’re comfortable with. If for whatever reason you need to ask me a question, I have anon asks enables on my Tumblr and will get back to you as soon as possible.
I like well-crafted plots, character studies, fluff, most AUs, and romance.
I don’t like gore/detailed descriptions of violence, major character death, rape, infidelity or a/b/o, so please stay away from that.
Danball Senki
Requested Characters: Hiyama Ren, Uzaki Takuya, Yagami Eiji, Zaizen Sousuke
I adore everything about Danball Senki - the plot, the awesome battles, the characters, the growth most of them go through, and even the LBXs themselves. Ban and Jin seem to get most of the attention in the fic that’s out there, so I decided to nominate some of the secondary characters. As far as ships go, I do have a few: Yagami/Zaizen is my favourite, but I also ship Ren/Takuya.
I’d love to see some backstory and/or family fic for the characters who didn’t get that explored in the anime. What do they do in their time off? (including any family members who appear in other series would be awesome too!) What did everyone get up to in the year between the first series and W (or between W and Wars)? And I’m also open to AUs - I love feudal Japan AUs, for instance.
有頂天家族 | Uchouten Kazoku | The Eccentric Family
Requested Characters: Akadama-sensei | Nyoigatake Yakushibou, Benten | Suzuki Satomi, Ebisugawa Kaisei, Shimogamo Yasaburou
The setting was what really got me hooked on the show, and then I grew to love the characters and how they relate to each other. Everyone is just so interesting that I wish we had gotten more different point of views aside from Yasaburou’s, since I feel there’s a lot to be explored in this world. Yasaburou/Kaisei is my main ship, but I won’t object to Yasaburou/Benten.
What interests me most is the contrasts we see in the story. Benten was born as human, but she calls herself a tengu while at the same time participating in human activities like the Friday Fellows. Yasaburou is a tanuki but clearly loves the human world. Akadama-sensei is a tengu who can no longer fly and must live in the human world. Kaisei loves her family but at the same time is disgusted by some of the things they do. I also wouldn’t mind seeing more of Akadama-sensei and Benten’s relationship after he kidnapped her and raised her, or Yasaburou’s relationship with the two of them growing up. Post-canon fic with Kaisei and Yasaborou figuring out what they mean to each other would be awesome as well.
Kamen Rider Drive
Requested Characters: Shijima Kiriko, Tomari Shinnosuke
I’m really new to the Kamen Rider franchise, since I became interested in it just before Drive premiered. I’m really liking it so far, though! The dynamic between Kiriko and Shinnosuke is lovely, and there’s a good balance of angst, comedy and action in each episode. Even the Shift Cars themselves are cute, especially since they have their own personalities. I only requested Kiriko and Shinnosuke because I wasn’t sure if I liked Rinna and Chase, but now that I’ve seen more of them, feel free to include them as well! I ship Kiriko/Shinnosuke, but I’d be totally happy with a story where they’re just friends.
I’d love to see a day-in-the-life of story with Kiriko and/or Shinnosuke. Since from the bits we’ve seen so far, it seems like their office can get pretty weird at times. Casefic would be awesome, if that interests you. Kiriko and Shinnosuke figuring out their relationship (whether it be as partners or boyfriend/girlfriend) would be cool too. More exploration of Shinnosuke’s role as Kamen Rider Drive and his feelings about that would be neat. I have a feeling the show will reveal more backstory for them in time, but if you want to explore that, I won’t complain.
Magic Kaito
Requested Characters: Kuroba Kaito | Kaitou Kid, Nakamori Aoko
I was first introduced to Kaitou Kid in Detective Conan, so I was really happy when Kid’s own anime series was announced. The atmosphere is great, as is the use of magic by Kaito. I like the contrast between Kaito the lazy high school student and Kaitou Kid the (usually) smooth phantom thief. Aoko’s ability to keep Kaito in line is fantastic as well. I ship Kaito/Aoko, but they work great as friends too.
Casefic would be ideal, but since I know how difficult they are to write, don’t feel pressured to do that. Kaito seemed to jump into the role of Kaitou Kid without much hesitation, but the danger he faces on a regular basis has got to weigh on him somehow. Does it affect his studies? His relationship with others, and Aoko in particular? What does Kaito get up to when he’s not planning thefts? Aoko is the daughter of the man trying to catch Kid, but she almost seems to admire him, so an exploration of that side of her would be cool. Kaito and Aoko just hanging out would be great as well.
Tanken Driland
