I skipped class...
Now i've been pretty good this semester. That is in comparison with last semester ;) And I have made it to most of my classes! hurray me!! But when hurricanes come around they also bring an anti-school work band that sweeps the across students prior to striking land. We're all eager to get this hurricane over with, and we check the weather channel online and on TV consistently thruout the day. There are no more brain cells left to worry about classes. Luckily I have had a very minimal amount of school work to do this week. Not that I wasn't busy (on tuesday I went from 9:30am to 9:30pm) but there has been practically no homework. I've actually done work ahead of time and studied for exams prior to the day before I take them! it's amazing and baffling. My Musicology exam got postponed AGAIN till next week. I'm all up to date on the beatles and early music genres. I'll just have to hold all that info in my cabeza till next Tues. comes around.
So...back to not going to class...I went to Ecosystems this morning (good thing too cuz they passed around an attendance sheet today) and of course MCY was cancelled. All I had left class wise was ENG, in which I normally experience very painful waves of sleepiness (the teacher has the same exact sweet Tennessee accent as my preschool teacher who would always read us our afternoon stories! I can't help it). Furthermore, that class never really goes over anything crucial anyway. So shannon convinced me to skip it finally and come with her to Marine Bio. I am in Marine Bio right now and this teacher is just chalk full of excitement. let me tell ya! oh yeah...im learning about meiofaunal organisms and something that releases liquidy ooze when you squeeze it!
so that's it. skipping one class but going to another. I'm such a good student.
