B-Day Celebrate and Inebriation

Dec 20, 2008 11:41

So I haven't written in this thing in such a long time. The uneventful nature of having business classes at a community college and the busyness of my friends have made it difficult to write about anything.
Well now its winter break and 2 days ago it was my birthday. I'm twenty-freaking-three. I write now because yesterday I got to finally celebrate a real birthday since turning 21. When I turned 21, there was a big snow storm and one of my good friends got dumped while she was with her guy at his apartment. With a crappy car that wouldn't make it back to her own place in bad weather, I had the honor of going through the blizzard to pick her up somewhere on Osuna. Great birthday.
Last year I was still stuck in Boston. With only a few friends from school and finals there was no time for celebrating.
This year I got to spend it with some of my closest friends, though it wasn't that eventful I enjoyed it.I had a nice little dinner (with Thai, Tong, Radley, #2, Dong, Aya, Josh, Jessica, Andrew, Nina, and Travis) at a Thai restaurant and went to a chill bar and pool hall Downtown. We got cut off a little early for our stumbling rendition of No Doubt's "Don't Speak" but I guess that's okay because I rather not anyone regurgitate any of the alcohol they consumed. So I think everyone was able to drive home safe. It was quite slow Downtown for a Friday. It was a great improvement to years past.

I hope the New Year's Eve celebration is 3x as better.
