The Dutch, and hell most governments, are confusing the hell out of me. We're moving back towards the feudal system where if you say something about the Master, you can be hung. It's just changed from a physical punishment to an economic one ( ... )

ellaOne is going to piss off the fundies. Nothing new there. But with the difficulty finding pharmacists willing to dispense, many people would benefit from one they can get after more than 24 hours, allowing them to find it, get it, and take it before the end of the window of opportunity.

In fact, the current "morning after pill" is good for 72 hours (and may be useful up to 5 days, although with tapering efficacy). The big advantage seems to be that the new formulation is consistently effective in that time frame, without the tapering efficacy. Definitely big progress, if patients can actually get ahold of it.

The induced abortion, that's part of the problem that is cropping up as care and options are reduced steadily. I will gripe, however, about the stupid statement "Lead Pencil". Pencils haven't had lead in a generation, and even so it's a redundant statement. Pencils have "lead" i.e. graphite. That's just carbon now days.The lead thing annoyed me too.
