I thought of you today, and how much I have learned *because* of you. I saw tons of protesters on Liberty Ave this morning, and started reading their signs. I was confused, I didn't think there was a clinic that performed abortions there. I kept looking, then I saw a door flanked by two people in yellow vests. a-HA! I thought. Now I know :) Were it not for all of the antis I never would have looked for the people in the vests. Were it not for you I wouldn't have known what they were there for. Thank you.
I wanted to do something for the escorters, but I wasn't sure what would be allowed/appreciated. Since I will be downdown most Saturday mornings for the forseeable future, I would like to do something positive for them. What would you suggest? What would you appreciate from some random person walking up to you - or would that be more frightening than helpful? I was thinking of putting a couple bottles of cold water in the car for them and taking it to them (on foot, due to minimal parking available). Your thoughts?

In terms of the escorts, it's a bit hard for me to guess where exactly their boundaries are, but I know any kind of positive interaction means a huge amount to us when we're out. I think the water would likely be very much appreciated.
