Some houses Caleb's looked at:
So you probably saw the same things I did today but if you didn’t, here’s some of the ones I saw and thought might be neat. I’m especially partial to the last one. The two buildings with one segmented off a bit, the skylight, the hot tub, the carpet. I love carpet! I know, I’m hell on carpet as are all the other critters but it is so much quieter. Heh.
http://www.homes.com/listing/84761436/2228_W_40th_St_CLEVELAND_OH_44113 It has a dorky 80’s paint job that makes me chuckle a little
http://www.homes.com/listing/81788996/3022_West_11th_CLEVELAND_OH_44113 look familiar?
http://www.homes.com/listing/85850699/2808-10_York_CLEVELAND_OH_44113 Good location but so much building for the price, it could be a deathtrap. Also it appears to have been listed with every realtor on earth is not a great indicator.
http://www.homes.com/listing/84953823/2045_West_41st_St_CLEVELAND_OH_44113 this one is even further out and a little cheesy but it does have a hot tub already in it (a little one) and it has a cutesy little totem pole. I want to pinch these people’s cheeks they’re so adorably Midwestern.
And some of what I ran across when searching online, that grabbed my attention in some way or another:
Some of the pages I've looked at, and found worth noting, although many look too small, in the end, for what'd really be ideal for us:
710 Literary Rd
Cleveland, OH 44113
2234 W 20th St
2255 W 20th St (contacted for viewing)
$91,947 Brevier Ave
5 br 4 ba Cleveland, 44113
3,633 sqft RealtyTrac (I suspect massive work needed, probably not a good option, but I'm curious to know more)
2471 W 7th St (really interested in this, and contacted for viewing)
$16,667 Scranton Rd
8 br 3 ba Cleveland, 44113
2,663 sqft RealtyTrac (again, must be trashed, but I'm still curious)
1926 Corning Ave
1901 Rowley Ave
2933 Scranton Rd
2014 Seymour Ave (contacted for viewing -- this is the one I mentioned that I strongly suspect is entirely impossible, but it's so fascinating I have to go look)
3022 W 11th St
1002 Buhrer Ave
2205 W 32nd St
2403 West 7th
(note: When I was first looking for places in Tremont, years ago, there was a fascinating building over on 5th at the top of the hill -- I want to wander by just in the very odd case that it might be for sale -- also, is there an etiquette about asking a land-owner if they might be interesting in selling a place that isn't on the market?)
2255 West 20
2808 2810 York Ave (very curious about this one, have contacted for viewing)
2140 West 29th
