Well, I posted
a listing on Craigslist today, so we'll see how that goes, and how much I may need to fine-tune it.
Work's very busy, and I'm still feeling behind on too much. I think part of that is that I'm on an upswing, moodwise, and although I get a lot done when that's the case, I'm also more prone to getting anxious about forgetting things. Hmmm -- actually, I think that particular anxiety pops up on both ends of the mood spectrum for me. When I'm trying to pull my shit together during a depression, I worry about losing track and not accomplishing necessary stuff, and I get very into list-making as a way of controlling that worry. On the other end, it's that I'm making lots of plans, and worry about losing necessary stuff in amongst all the mind-racing, or forgetting something I just thought of, or not accomplishing enough before my mood and energy drop again, so back to the lists again (although they get a _lot_ more extensive on the upswing side). I think it's more accurate to say that it's an anxiety that's rather intrinsic to my psyche, and that extremes of my mood cycles just aggravate it. Likewise, lists are always part of my life, but much more so at the mood extremes. Last night I rewrote a three-page to-do list three different times, just so it was organized how I wanted it. I have an 11-worksheet spreadsheet with most of my life organized in list form. It gets rather silly at times, but lists definitely have a lot to do with keeping my life functional.
As a note, today was so not the day to stop wearing tights under my pants. *brrrrr* I was expecting mid-thirties, not friggin' 15 degrees with a windchill in the single digits. That's what I get for forgetting to check. I'm much happier with Ohio weather when I'm not an idiot.
Well, off to lunch.
