Speaking of hair, how's your no-poo experiment going?
I'm having some success with tricomin and folligen. My hair's significantly longer/less breakage, the texture's gone back to soft from strawlike, and I'm losing fewer hairs in the shower and when I brush.
Hey, I was just going to post about that! It's been up and down, but mostly up. My hair is softer and less split-endy and easier to manage, but I've had to move down to less and less frequent vinegar/baking soda washes to keep it that way. These days, I shower frequently but really do a v/bs wash every... 2 weeks?
It's on my mind because N had a (very minor) case of head lice last week, and so I had to shampoo for the first time in months. Then I had to do it again a week later! I'd already forgotten how bad it was. How can my hair be dry, oily, and lame all at the same time? At least it's not enough shampoo to make it start falling out again.
But now I'm interested in the Tricomin/Folligen thing, especially if it's working for you! I tried Minoxidil for a while but I couldn't keep it up every day for six months in order to see a result. I think I made it for three months and saw nothing so my enthusiasm petered out. I'm bad about that. But you're liking it already?
The change was noticeable after ONE shampoo. The hair texture immediately softened. The breakage slowed down after about a week, and though it's still breaking/falling out, my hair feels and looks thicker
( ... )
While this is true, it is still also true that I think almost every guy is hotter with long hair than they would be with short hair. It's just that the best some men can do is still "incredibly skeevy".
Depends.
