Solstice storytelling

"...I've developed the habit of thinking of the Winter Solstice, the longest night, as a time to sit up and tell stories...

This year, I want to share, and, y'know, be shared with. So, I'm inviting you... I'd like to invite, encourage, and lure you to do the same. Write or record a story, make a photo essay, draw, create, do whatever it is do to tell a story in the world. Then share it on your LJ/blog/etc., when you're finished.

This doesn't have to be Great Art, nor does it have to be polished in any way, because we're all friends here and besides, what's the fun of that? Just tell a story, any story, however you like to tell 'em, whatever story you have been wanting to tell - and then post it online for the rest of us to enjoy. That's the meme.

You are cordially requested to repost, importune, prompt, coax, or generally elsewise propagate. Thank you much."
