For those of you that care, the "moomin" in "moominmolly" is from a strange series of Finnish kids' books about the Moomintrolls. I always fancied myself to be snufkin, but that name was taken. Dammit. I'm not bitter.

Anyway, Finn Family Moomintroll is in my own little canon of kick-ass weird kids' books, like A Wrinkle In Time or The Dark Is Rising.
