IIRC, pigs aren't prone to catching BSE. Sheep and cows otoh... But I guess they don't have enough brain to make a profitable industry.

Not sure but I can imagine pigs getting animal meal too, if cows get it. They're not catching BSE _might_ have to do with the fact that they're omnivores, while sheep and cattle are dedicated herbivores. Among other things.
