(no subject)
Well...it's been a few days since I've wrote in here. It was a busy weekend. Work went well Friday as usual. Saturday I picked up the kids and spent some time with them before they went to their grandparent's house for the night. They haven't seen them in over a month and wanted SO much to take them for the night. It kind of worked out well due to Lisa came down to Sioux Falls for Vinny's birthday Saturday. We had a great time. Rock and I met her down at Buck's...which I must say, Rock is the ONLY guy I know that can take LONGER to get ready than any female I know...lol. We finally got to Buck's around 12:20pm, which didn't leave us much time. The place was PACKED with more rednecks than I could handle...lol. Not to mention they were playing way too much country. All in all though...I had a great time and was good to see Lisa again. :o) I think it was probably 5:30am before I got to bed and was back up at around noon or so. NOT ENOUGH SLEEP!!!...lol. I drove back to Pipestone yesterday afternoon to pick up ma babies from their grandparent's place and had some good time to just sit and think about different things going on in my life. I must say...I think I'm going to just go for lil' "drives" more often. It's a good way to just sit back, chill, and think about things without being bothered.
Called and talked to my buddy Nick up in the Twin Cities yesterday. He just ordered a new Laptop computer from me a couple weeks ago, just got it about 3 days ago, and ALREADY had something spilt on the keyboard!!!...lol He evidently had a glass of water he was sipping on next to his system and his cat jumped up and knocked the glass over right onto the keyboard. Luckily there wasn't much water in it from what he was telling me. I KNEW there was a reason I don't like cats besides being allergic to them. :oD
After getting back to Sioux Falls last night and taking the kids back to their mom's house, I got a call from Rock wanting to go to karaoke at Champp's last night. As usual I couldn't tell him no even though I was tired as hell...lol. We had a good time. Was kind of funny seeing Rock's big ass up in the front of the place doing the Running Man, etc. while I was singing Ice Ice Baby....lmao. He's a trip to party with. :o) Well...I'm at work and it's 4:30pm...time for dinner. Write more later.
