That was a really damn stupid marketing scheme. Putting blinking boxes on bridges in a major city is not going wouldn't even advertise well. My cynical side wonders if the ublic disruption wasn't on purpose, to gain even more publicity for the upcoming film. In any case, it was irresponsible at best. Boo.

I do, however, fully support giving Fox News the one-finger salute.

Their marketing scene was genius...not only are you commenting on it but you can describe it, and analyze it on another person's journal. They did a fantastic job because this comment exists in the first place.

Right. That's the point I was making when I mentioned the publicity they're gaining from it. But it's still low and that makes it stupid to me, to think that it's acceptable on a human level.

Similar signs have been up, without issue, in nine other cities for two weeks. The signs advertise quite effectively to people who are already familiar with Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and perplex others. The source of TERROR seems to be that one of them fell apart, and the exposed guts on the street triggered fears. Also, Boston cops are squares.

Every other illegitimate and puffed up terror plot has effectively been marketing for the Republicans, and now their monopoly on terror marketing is cracking. Drugs sell, violence sells, sex sells, and Americans have done those to death [Evidence: near nude baristas at coffee shacks around Seattle]. Now, terror sells.
