I've got a $50 iTunes gift card to use up. Music recommendations!? looksatthestars and no_sound, I know you've got what I want.

So far, I'm thinking of the soundtrack from Secretary, the last release from Cat Power, and Black Box Recorder.

what are you thinking? Harder stuff? Poppier stuff? Stuff with banjos?

If you dont own Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" that is the #1 album to get.

The thing I like so much about iTunes is their exclusives. I feel that I can buy any hard album or download any others from soulseek or limewire. But iTunes has so many bands performing just for them. My advice is to look around iTunes for the bands you love. Chances are theyll have some exclusive stuff that no one else has. If that doesnt work, I can give you many, many more recomendatons. Good luck!
