ladyboss is a jerk...she can be a good producer, but I doubt it's HER credit/talent things ended up good, she's working with a talented loyal solid bunch there. A lot of the earlier TR's stuff, esp preLoCH/CP1 r decent after decent productions.
After all these years of YH, being a friend, a neighbor, a coworker, and under her sole care, she screwed him BIG with this lamest shiteous PoS that he's stuck with for THREE years. I think she needs ppl to be totally subservient or else she'll just flash them her ubercrazyevilbitch side, like she did with YM. As much as I like HG, though I think he's a bit overrated acting wise, he strikes me as being quite simple kind soul, same with LSS...whereas YH is this wise, cunning, brilliant little fox she can never control/trust. Thus her playing her silly favoritism games. Her loss. I'm pretty sure BBJX will be decent, but she can totally be so off with it and fools even herself she's making sth with heart but it's actually a boring load of dunk as in CtW. I saw her pouring sth into it, effort, manhours and so forth but never in my nightmares will I expect it to be THIS cringeworthy.
The thing with Yu mama is he's like a Jing Wong of the HK 90s era, just way more craycray and hormonally imbalanced XDDD. He knows the formula to make his commercial shiz and I'll even admit it myself they r addictive drugs and we know perfectly well how horrible they r...but I see an honesty under his games for show/face. And he got his share of flack fr the bulk of the older/thinking/cynical C netizens. It's all out in the open, a vicious cycle of we cont. to stab, yet watch on coz we need fodder to poke at him. He's laughing all the way to the bank as much as we don't like it but boy was I entertained and loling every second of his stupid shiz. hahahahaha

I like that description of YH mookie. :) But you know, even if LB doesn't like his personality or whatever, I don't see where he'd given her cause to complain. I mean, the guy gave up a whole year of his career when LOCH08 stopped filming due to Hu Ge's accident, for crying out loud. That's loyalty for you. And how does she treat him in response? Grrr.
Anyway, I like that YH's different from HG and LSS, which makes YH/LSS work as a romantic pairing (or YH/HG if slash's your thing) more than HG/LSS, in my opinion. Opposites attract and all that.
Yu Zheng I don't even want to talk about--thankfully I live overseas where it's easy to ignore his crap. His motto I swear is "我是流氓我怕誰," i.e. "I'm a bully/plagiarizer. Bite me."
Ladyboss is a crazybitch when it comes to people who aren't obedient. She jives with LSS, HG and would rather give lead roles to Mr YES MAN Wallace Huo because they are all...YES people. She cannot take dissent from people with stronger personalities like YM and YH. I know she's gotten a few Sina weibo accounts suspended on the pretext that they harmed her reputation. You should thank your lucky stars she doesn't read English or she'd get this blog banned.

Anon 2 here again. Just to clarify, I do love Wallace Huo as an actor. He was superb and really hot as Li Ge Xiao in Chinese Iljimae. It's Ladyboss attitude which gets to me. Why did she have to get so crazyevilbitch over Yang Mi turning down Fantasy Zhu Xian, and yet when Wallace Huo turns down a role, she's OK?

Woman, the only reason why your CTW pool of BS achieved decent ratings was bcos of the YH-LSS pairing. I bet the media ASKED for both YH & LSS to be interviewed together and Edwin was just pushed in as a third party to prevent those two from looking too hot together.

Unfortunately this could be your last post on the lovebirds. Now that YH is completely off TR, I can see LB clamping down on LSS on her tweets with YH thinking that more of their weibo flirts will bring him more fame. Uncle Yanfei's massage pic made it to the press which must've got her fuming. Notice there are miniscule YH scenes in the BBJX trailer and zero in the photobook.
Loverboy is wanted by lots of people anyway. Yu Mama has been fangirling him. Ruby Lin's agent has been active in his weibo even commenting favorably on Tong Hua's posts about 13th Prince. Rumours are rife that Nicky Wu wants him to join his company.

YH (as he boasted) did the best with his black and white sheepdog, and then when LSS's corgi completely ignored her commands ("I like to jump on you better!") he just took over and got the puppy to sit in no time. Awww! Janine's white poodle didn't listen to her, either, but how come chivalrous YH didn't come to her rescue?

Yes...LOOOOVVE CtW's media interviews and BTS clips. I watch those over and over again rather than the actual series! My favourite part of the Nanning TV show was when LSS was counting those cards, the host asked her, who's your favourite leading man. YH hollers "Yuan Hong", but she says "I like all my leading men" (not wanting to be seen as biased). Then YH says she's good wife material bcos of the meticulous way she counts.
I also heart Bu Bu Jing Xin's offscreen interactions among Nicky (my love of the moment), YH & LSS. They are my favourite trio on Bu Bu!

I didn't watch the whole of CTW, only fast-forwarded to all the General/Princess scenes. To tell you the truth, I enjoyed their BTS interactions and media interviews for CTW much much more than the series itself. E.g. at Nanning TV interview with Janine, you could see when the giant video showed LSS' friend commenting on her real life personality, those two shunted to one side, sticking to one another like glue, whereas Janine was somewhere else. Same with the cute dog picture. Also notice how they stick to each other during the Sohu and Youku interviews - ADORABLE!!!
CTW actually achieved decent ratings in China - I think the official weibo mentioned it broke 3, even though it was panned by critics. I hope Tangren knows that the YH-LSS coupling, despite their cut scenes, was what held up the ratings. Why do you think the follow up media interviews only asked for YH & LSS, and Edwin was just a tag-on? I feel sorry for Janine - she's a decent actress who deserves a much better role.
Gosh I loveeeeeeee those bts, one thing I have to be truly grateful for CtW's existence is giving us a weibo addicted YH, it's the BEST free witty daily comedy hr for me. Nodding with you, I'd rather just give YH/LSS/Janine cameras and just let them roll without doing a thing and that reality show/docu will be 3 trillion times more interesting than CtW. I'll bet a sweetest bowl of YHLSS Tong Yuan on that!

Well, you know the kind of actor YH is. CtW is TOTALLY not his choice of drama - c'mon, do you really think he would want to make a big show of being ogled at while shaving? I doubt he was waiting around for it for 3 years. More like when it came along, he was FORCED? Maybe that's why there's no news of him signing any talent agency contract because he wants to be independent after being forced into a douchebag drama like CtW.

lol...I think he's ok with the ogling fr the girls (including us!) ^^ BUT clearly he's attached to this project fr the get go and I do believe this project has been in the pipes for a while, just that the writing is completely junk and Miss LB has ridiculously poor taste and judgement. LadyBitch promised him he'll be guy1 and all things r pointing decent to promising all along, a part of our disappointment is fr the expectation vs reality. I bet he didnt know until he got the script what crap he's in and it would be too beyond him low to bail then, but it must've been the last straw for him to leave TR. I'm so glad and clearly he has his head screwed very right and I need not worry. Same with Janine, I find her brilliant and wise in picking solid projects and this being her first C period, she must've done her calculations and still.... *SIGH*
