Good News on the Homefront!

Just an important bit of good news...my cyst finally drained. Praise the Lord! That might be kinda gross to some of you, but let's just say that I'm finally feeling like myself again. I can do my own dishes, walk normally, sleep through the night and I don't have to take ibuprofen every four hours. I'm still sitting a little sore because it's still tender, but I can finally move like a real person again.

It was a fantastic night last night. Had my graphic design major friends skype me from their collective lunch so I got to see several of my friends through my computer all at the same time. I also got a whole lot of music from Mr. David Parma so I know have the equivalent of three cds of Kevin Fowler on my computer. I still have my Itunes giftcard that I plan to make use of very very soon. I didn't get any of the music off my old computer before I left (boo) so I've been depending pretty heavily on my roommates, myspace or just doing without. Anyway, so quick summary: (1) Texas Country on my computer, (2) Was included on a lunch with some of my favorites although a few were missing, (3) My cyst drained.

I'm headed to the doctor in a little bit to get some antibiotics to clear up the cyst from the inside, but I'm sooooo grateful that the pressure was released a few days before I leave for Rome. I plan on having a ball in Rome, especially now that I'm feeling human again. I'm finally glad to be in Italy. :) I haven't been in a better mood since I got here.

Ciao!
