cuz it's you and me, and all of the people...
well it's been a few days. it's sunday, last update was tuesday or somethin.
so meggs and i went to brannon's double header on wednesday night. it was fun, we didnt get bored. everything was going well, until brannon got hit by a pitch that is. right in the elbow too..that thing swelled up like a balloon. he was out for the rest of the night. poor guy=(
thursday morning i woke up super early to go retrieve my report card! did pretty well..and better on my spanish grade then i thought i would. phew. britter, sarah, bethany, and i went over to meggs right after for a wonderful breakfast cooked my chef megan herself.
later on..after our food digested we went running. then i had new york rehearsal for a few hours.
on friday, molly and i had our last behind-the-wheel session! to celebrate, we went to applebee's after. we had a pretty cute waiter. i liked his spikey hair. it kind of sucked when he spelt molly's brother's mountain dew on himself though! haha
eventually... as nightime came by, my mom and i went shopping for some NY supplies and what not.
on saturday, i slept in for the first official time this summer. i didnt do much after that besides go to church and hang out with rach and jess for a bit.
today, my dad and brannon went to his game. my mom stayed home, and i needed to so i could go to my concert later on tonight. we decided to start packing for NY since we wont have much time these next 2 days. then, as i was packing i realized that i didnt have any black shoes to go with my performance attire. sooo we ran into town real fast and got some. then we came home and i started getting ready for our departing concert at Grace church. then of course, as soon as i picked up the hairdryer the lights started flickering. before i knew it, it was like a horror film going on in my downstairs bathroom. we have one window but it barely lets much light in. so the power completely goes out and of course i have to air-dry my hair!! it was crazy.
so we go to the concert..that went well, especially for having to sing in the DARK haha and missing our trumpet instrument for one of our songs.
when we came home, the power was still out. what do ya know....a transformer blew up! crazy stuff. so i just sat in the dark for awhile, and packed somemore using candles for light. then i went for a walk/run with my mom. we got home around 9:25-ish and the power was still out. then, i swear i saw a shooting star. so i wished the power would come on and not even a second later it did. yeah no joke, sounds kinda corny, but that really did happen. then since we didnt have dinner my dad and i took a quick trip to dq and i got me some chocolate ass cream=) and a cheeseburger. now i'm gonna get fat b/c i ate after 8. whatever. so yes, it was quite an interesting evening.
now, i only have 2 more final days until i leave for the big apple and until i'll be partyin' it up in times square. i cannot wait!!!
tomorrow i have our last NY rehearsal, and then two volleyball games. then on tuesday, i have a double header and the next morning we're off. yeay.
